Don't Neglect Your Missing Teeth...
Dental implants are special screw systems made of titanium, which act as tooth roots and are applied with a simple process to replace lost teeth.
It is very important for our quality of life to be able to comfortably perform functions such as chewing, speaking and laughing. Since chewing activities are perfectly developed anatomically, even a single tooth loss can lead to both a decrease in chewing functions and psychologically depressing results.
Titanium screw systems that replace lost teeth for treatment and replace natural tooth roots without any side effects are called implants. The main purpose of dentistry is to replace the lost teeth in the most similar way to natural teeth in function and aesthetics. At this point, dental implants come into play as the most suitable treatment alternative for natural tooth structure.
Dental implants are placed in the jawbone in a suitable position with a small dental procedure, after a few months of waiting, an aesthetic tooth is placed on it, replacing our lost teeth both functionally and aesthetically. The tooth placed on the implant looks like your natural tooth and serves a natural chewing function.
With the recovery of lost teeth thanks to implants; A happier social life and a healthier and more balanced diet are waiting for you, depending on being able to eat whatever you want.
In Which Situations Can Implants Be Applied?
-In single tooth deficiencies
-Multiple tooth deficiencies
-In cases of complete edentulism
-To support the total prosthesis
Can the implant be applied at any age?
Implants can be applied at any age except childhood and adolescence. There is no upper age limit in implant applications.
We need to wait for the completion of bone development (16-17 years for girls, 17-18 years for boys) in order to apply implants to our patients in the childhood-adolescence period.
Can implants remain in the mouth for life?
Early patients have been successfully using their implants for more than 25 years. The length of this period depends on several factors such as the general health status of the individual, daily care and cleaning of the implant.
However, as with all other medical interventions, it is unethical to give a lifetime guarantee in terms of surgical principles.
What are the conditions to be considered after the implant operation?
