In such a case, a preparation of approximately 1.5 mm is made from each part of the tooth, together with the filling made, and a porcelain or zirconium crown is made on the tooth within about 1 week by taking measurements. Zirconium should be preferred if the cost can be met by the patient due to its tissue friendliness and aesthetic properties.
